Christmas In July

Join the Friends of Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park for our "Christmas in July". Enjoy music, food, free ice shave and free facepainting. This event is family friendly and FREE. Headlining our festival is Na Hoku Hanohano LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD winner, Kenneth Makuakane. With more than 27 Hoku Awards to his name - including Song of the Year for "I Miss You, my Hawai'i" and so much more. 5 other performers throughout the day including the Kipapa Sisters, Ho'aikane, Lori Lei's Hula Studio and more. We will have crafters selling handmade items ready for early Christmas shopping. Food by 4 Scoops of Aloha and the Hawaiian Civic Club of Ka'u.
