Dance and Hear Kalani’s Ecstatic Dance History

Kalani’s Ecstatic Dance anniversary offers a reason to pause between dances: the announced program includes discussions with founders and current facilitators. Alongside music and movement, those conversations give the gathering’s history a place in the celebration.

The Ecstatic Dance 25-Year Birthday Bash is announced for Friday, November 13, 2026, at noon through Sunday, November 15, at 6 p.m., Hawaii time. The location is Kalani Oceanside’s Hale Aloha, 12-6870 Kalapana–Kapoho Road, Pāhoa, on Hawaiʻi Island. This featured-event spotlight is one selection, rather than a complete official calendar for Kalani or the island.

The announcement celebrates 25 years of Ecstatic Dance at Kalani and advertises three Ecstatic Dances, contact improvisation, yoga and movement classes, workshops and sound baths. Imagika Om, Mantis and Sky Makai are named as featured artists. The published weekend hours describe the overall gathering; individual session times should be checked with Kalani.

The supplied announcement lists $77 admission until November 1 and a $107 camping package, with tax and booking fees additional. Camping is priced per person and excludes showers. Cottages are also advertised for booking; check accommodation availability with Kalani. Children are welcome with adult supervision, and childcare is not provided. The announced dance-space guidelines prohibit talking and photography.
